External access to licensed digital offerings
Members of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society can also use the digital services licensed by the university library - databases, electronic journals and newspapers and e-books - from off campus.
This means that academic information is available to you flexibly - regardless of whether you are on campus, at home or on the move.
Access from outside the campus
Most licensed resources are accessed via the university network and are made available through a VPN connection.
- Installing a VPN client
- Log in with your campus credentials
- You will then have access just as you would on the university network

Provider-dependent access channels
Some electronic resources use alternative authentication methods and can therefore be accessed without a VPN:

After registering once, you can use the platform with your personal login credentials—both on and off the campus network. - Ciando E-Books
On campus, access is provided directly through the university network.
To use the service off campus, a personal user account is required (register using your university email address according to our instructions).
