Dear users,
The LOTSE (Library Online Tour and Self-Paced Education) team at Münster University and State Library has produced five new educational videos on how to search for freely available full texts.
Although the videos are designed for the Münster context and contain local specific hints, they will certainly be helpful and of interest for you as well.
You can find the freely available short videos at http://www.ulb.uni-muenster.de/e-tutorials/ebooks, and they are also posted on the Lotse YouTube channel. And, of course, our library's website also leads to the films, via e-learning > Scientific Work.
The three- to five-minute videos cover in detail how to search for full-text scholarly materials via KVK, BASE, Google Scholar, Google Books, and Internet Archive.
The tutorials are intended as an introduction and are deliberately kept short, i.e. they do not aim to provide exhaustive information on the respective search tool.
Enjoy the films and be successful in your search for scientific full texts on the web,
Your library
