Dear students and faculty in our health-related degree programs,

Since the end of 2020, CareLit Complete has been activated for the IP address range of our university.

The specialized bibliography CareLit ("CareLit classic"), which has been offered for use for many years, currently lists approximately 208,000 documents from 374 German-language journals for health and nursing professions (that is 97% of the German-language articles from 1947 onwards).

With CareLit Complete, you now have access to approximately 61,000 full texts in addition to the bibliographic references of the specialist literature of interest to you in the fields of nursing, therapy sciences, midwifery and public health. From now on, approximately 1,000 more downloadable documents are to be added annually, which are usually included in CareLit Complete in less than seven days after official delivery by the publisher.

From home you can

• either via VPN connection
• or via log-in with e-mail address plus password

to access the subject bibliography and full text database.

Register for password-supported access to CareLit via the registration form for CareLit institutional access at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, page https://app.carelit.de/account_create.php. The form is tailored to our university, i.e. only e-mail addresses of our university are accepted. Fill the field "E-Mail" with the first part of your university e-mail address, i.e. with
[first name].[last name] and then use the drop-down list to select the domain that applies to you in the format @studmail.hwg-lu.de, @hwg-lu.de or @lb.hwg-lu.de.
In addition to the e-mail address, the first and last name of the person using the domain is required.
By clicking on the button "Create access" the corresponding access will be activated. A confirmation e-mail with the log-in name (e-mail address) and the generated password is sent to the university e-mail address specified. The password is fixed and cannot be changed.
The log-in is immediately possible on the page https://app.carelit.de/account.php.
